In the past week, two different friends asked if I’d received the gift cards that they got me from Amazon while I was in the hospital in December. Both had requested the gift cards to be delivered automatically via my email. Both were charged for the cards. Neither arrived. Both asked them to be redelivered this week. Again, neither arrived. So, if you ordered Amazon gift cards for anyone lately, follow up to make sure they were received! If not, contact Amazon customer support (who I’ve always found helpful and easy to deal with) and either try to get a refund or ask that the gift cards be mailed to the intended recipient via snail (i.e. postal) mail. There’s evidently a glitch in their email delivery system.
