Day +118: The earth has been reborn and life goes on…

Happy spring, everyone!

It’s been awhile since I posted but there’s really been nothing new to report. It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly four months since my transplant.

I started my second post transplant Vidaza cycle today and am happy to say it was quite routine. I got my CMP blood work results back from Day 100, and everything was in normal range, even the liver enzymes – excellent!

Today’s CBC blood counts were:

WBC: 2600 (norm 4500-10500)
Granulocytes (~ANC): 1600 (norm 1400-6500)
Platelets: 350 (norm 150-450)
RBC: 3.79 (norm 4.00-6.00)
HGB (hemoglobin): 12.8 (norm 11.0-18.0)
HCT (hematocrit): 38.1 (norm 35.0-60.0)

My nausea and taste bud issues are about the same, as are my dry eyes and skin.

Hope you all are enjoying spring! Our daffodils are in full bloom.

  1. The same is good. Glad to hear the counts are still up. I hope the taste buds clean up their act. Do you need to go to a more humid area for your eyes and skin? Illinois is good for that. 😀

  2. Glad to hear that things are going well. So your bulbs are blooming too. It would seem that everyones bulbs are blooming but mine. I guess they are under achievers. Oh well, Happy Spring! Love Sherry
