Day +7: Trapped in a box

If you sent a card and are wondering why we didn’t acknowledge, chances are I didn’t receive until today. The receptionist brought a big handful of mail today and said something about no one bringing them from the box downstairs like they should’ve. So, thank you! The cards are adorning the walls of my room. The tech today said I’m the best patient on the whole floor–I look too well to even be here, am the most active, and have the most homey room, (and the nicest shoe collection).

My mouth is a little sorer, eating is a little more difficult, and I am tireder (all more of the “normal/expected”) but am still doing well. I haven’t mentioned it lately but still have made my goal on laps every day.

Three-way tie for reigning trivia champ: Chris and Susanne in a tie for fastest but they both used Google, and Bob who gets extra credit from me for using Amazon instead of Google (I’m not a Google fan) even though he was a tad slower. Answer: “The More You Pay” Don McLean album also Don McLean 1972. Tonight’s title is from Gwen Stefani/No Doubt. I’m too lazy to look up album and year.

  2. Oh and by the way, I think I’ve found your husbands real brother!!! I think it’s Dr. Luznik!

  3. Okay, I just sent you a personal email with the song info. I LOVE No Doubt and Gwen Stefani so I knew some of it. I did however have to look a little bit up on Wikipedia.

Saw my mom’s post about the PB and graham crackers and chocolate icing. That was a snack I started back in 8th grade when there wasn’t anything else to eat for dessert. It has become one of my revolving snack foods!!!

    Sleep well,
    Sarah

That Dr could be Mikes long lost brother. They strike a similar pose. Looks like you have lots of nice people taking care of you. Keep up the good work and we will see you well and at home in no time. All the Best
